I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
